This was a fun one for me to work on: of all the trips I’ve been fortunate enough to take in recent years, my solo reporting trip to Minneapolis ranks as one of the most unexpected. I didn’t think I’d love it anywhere near as much as I did, and I think a lot of that had to do with the fact that I was exploring on my own.
