I’ve been a contributing editor at Condé Nast Traveler for a year and a half now, and I love working with their global teams—and this summer I had the opportunity to work in-house at the US office, covering my editor’s maternity leave. It was wonderful being around the team and in an office setting again, helping commission, edit, and write stories for the September/October design issue and the November Readers’ Choice Awards issue. Most of my work was behind the scenes—working with a brilliant stable of writers to edit pieces on Tangier, Finland, West Africa, Riyadh, Rwanda, and Peru—but I also got to write a few elements of the impressive annual Readers’ Choice Awards—you can read the whole thing here.
