It’s been a crazy few weeks for me: I got married a month ago today, spent two weeks gallivanting around the Maldives and Dubai, then have spent the past two weeks settling into my new life in Cape Town. A big chunk of that has been devoted to setting up my new blog, The South AfriKhan, where I’ll be posting daily (I hope) snapshots into my new life in South Africa. I’ll still update this page with my latest articles, but I hope you’ll also continue to check www.southafrikhan.com regularly and follow my adventures there as well!

I spent an afternoon last summer on the sets of a photo shoot that Big Bang Theory‘s Kunal Nayyar and his lovely wife, former Miss India Neha Kapur, did for the February issue of Vogue India. It was a lot of fun, not only because I got to watch the newlyweds have a blast all over the streets of Manhattan, but because they were so adorably, hopelessly in love. It was inspiring, to say the least – so inspiring, in fact, that I got some advice from the duo about my own budding romance with a guy I’d just met in South Africa… to whom I’m now engaged! So Mom, in case you’re still trying to figure out why I’m moving to Cape Town, blame Kunal and Neha. Here’s my interview with the couple, and their gorgeous 13-page photo spread.
