I spent some time in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, recently, interviewing local tastemakers like Salem Bajnaid, the force behind the city’s ultra-hip Medd Coffee Roastery. Read all about the city’s burgeoning coffee scene in my piece for the new Rosewood Hotels website.
The April issue of Condé Nast Traveler is unlike anything else you’ll find on newsstands: a gorgeous ode to Africa, with a beautiful hijabi woman on the cover (Senegalese journalist Oumy Ndour). I’m honored to be a part of such a groundbreaking issue, with a piece on a dream southern Africa itinerary. You really ought to pick up the issue — but in the meantime you can read my story here.
The March issue of Virtuoso Life is an ode to cities — and they had me do a fun feature on the world’s largest cruise ship, a floating city of sorts: Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas. It was my first time on a cruise. What did I think? Read all about it here. (And keep an eye out for me on the Contributors page.)
